Series of ink drawings made through Inktober 2022.
Quite happy with those as I not only managed to get through the whole 31 days without missing any, but I also managed to get a continuous story going while adhering to the random prompts from Inktober, discovering them day by day. It was a very fun exercise in storytelling and writing although I recognize the story may not be very clear.
It follows Aquila, an AI in a virtual space whose role is to scout and report (log) what she sees of that world, so the owners of that world can extract that data out. This means every time Aquila logs anything, that data vanishes from her world, only leaving a sort of salt, as if the world had been dried out.
Eventually, she manages, with the help of Fowl, to find her home and her giant dog, after a long search, and decides to go in hiding with her dog before it too got erased.
Eventually, an agent from the world makers tracks her down and tries to trap her, getting Fowl in the process.
Aquila reacts by logging her account of the agent himself, erasing him from the world, leaving her to wander in this world, logging her memories on paper, off the grid.
